May 24, 2011 They Started Moving Steel! Check Out That Crane!

This was an exciting day for the class since they got to watch them moving the steel beams around.  Most of these photos will be very similar.  I actually allowed the kids to use my Nikon DSL with my large zoom lens today so it was a very controlled shoot.  I pretty much kept my hands on the camera so that it wouldn't fall. They never would have captured the entire crane with their point and shoots.

Matt T. - "I took this when they were holding up the walls."

Adam -" I took this pic of the crane because I like cranes."

Amber -

Connor - "I took this picture because the crane is bringing some steal beams to the top of the new school."

Chloe - "I took this picture because the sky looked very pretty and the crane was really big."

Joey - "I like the crane and bushes."

Kathryn - "I took this picture to show the crane and how high the gym wall is and the progress they have made."

Piper - "This is a picture of the super big crane that will help finish the gym and start making the rest of the buildings."
Nick - "I took this picture of the crane to show how big and tall it was."

Heather - "I took this picture because I thought it was really interesting how the crane lifted things on the top of the building to make a roof."
Molly - "This shows the crane.  The crane helps build the school. The building behind it shows the gym, the school looks pretty cool!"

Mark - "I took this picture of the crane because it moves the biggest parts."
Mark - "I took this picture because I liked the crane."

Kate - "I took this picture of the crane because it is tall and it is cool.  Also they were using it."

Sydney - "This is a picture of the crane for the job."

Anthony - "I took the picture of the crane because it has a part of my old baseball team's name."

Melissa - "I took a picture of the crane because it was super tall and we usually can't go outside and just see a crane! It must have been over 100 feet tall!"

Livvie - "Today we all took pictures of the big crane. It was very exciting seeing the tall crane."

Matt A. - "This picture shows the crane behind it is the gym and the gym looks pretty good!"
