I decided to post my photos separately for this portion since there are a lot of photos of the kids and some details that the kids didn't capture. There will be another post of the students work following this one.
This was the first time the kids and I got to actually go out onto the work site so we weren't shooting from behind a fence. It was pretty exciting for everyone including me. Hope you enjoy what we captured this day.
Greg (left) and Paul (right) are the project managers that have led us through this exciting adventure. We entered the site down by the baseball field out front. |
I loved seeing the kids in hard hats. It took us a while to figure out how to adjust them but we got it! |
Roofing tiles heading up! |
I think we were supposed to be focused on the crane lifting things. |
This is the foundation where the classrooms will be going. |
Piping for duct work. |
Always time for hand games. |
I will be so sad to see this old school taken down. I've worked there for a very long time. |
Life is good! |
Now there's someone focused on her job. |
Had to stop for a class photo of course. |
Roofing tiles |
The workers get a kick out of the kids too! |
The end of our first site visit. |
