June 1, 2011 - Our First On Site Visit - Student Photos

These photos were taken on June 1, on our very first trip out to the job site.  It was an exciting adventure for everyone.

Andrew said, "I took this picture because it is going to be a new part of the building (classrooms).

Kate wrote, "I took a pictue of the machine because they were moving big heavy things.  They were the roof panels of the gym.  They were putting them up that day.

Mark said, "This shows them putting up the elevator shaft".

Melissa stated, "I took a picture of some of the wood they will use to build the school, to get an idea of what the building is made of."

"I took a picture of the stairway and elevator shaft because it is very interesting to me," said Melissa.

Nick took this picture to show the cafeteria.

Nick took this photo to show the elevator shaft. (The kids are very excited about that elevator!)

"This picture was taken to show the different building supplies," said Ethan.

Connor said, "I took this picture to show what the cranes is doing.  It is picking up pieces of the roof."

"The crane is so tall! I couldn't even get the top!" wrote Livvie.

"Here's a close-up of the gym," said Syd.

Connor says that this picture shows the progress of the new gym.

Livvie took this picture to show the cafeteria also with an elevator shaft and the area where there will be the new classrooms.

"This is the cafeteria.  It was taken about where the classrooms will be," wrote Livvie.
